I'm in my twenties, and I've found myself on the cusp of finding my true calling. But yet, I'm lost like you are. Many young men and women find themselves at this weird point in time, where education and career experience don't seem to fulfill all their desires but are still in alignment with their interests.

Now, this is where the About Me section comes in. I am a passionate retail professional. I have spent almost nine years working in various parts of the business and within numerous product categories. Retail is more than just selling, it's customer service, it's fast-paced, and it's fun! Industry workers are often degraded and overlooked, but they are some of the most adaptable, resilient people I know. Standing all day, waiting on customers in an environment showing continued reductions in foot traffic, but still having the ability to sell $400 worth of product 30 minutes before the store closes takes skill!

 

Recently, I was awarded an MBA and Master of Project Management from Bond University. During my time studying, I discovered innovation and change management. My future career goals are evolving as I gain more knowledge. ​But one thing I do know is that I want to take what I have learned and apply it to the retail industry.

 

Besides retail, two of my favorite things in life are traveling and coffee. Hence, the title Retail Caffeine. I am my most productive while drinking coffee, and finding new cafés across the world is one of my favorite hobbies. Speaking of across the world, traveling is a huge part of my life. Wherever I go, I check out the local retail scene. Whether its the fashion, the grocery stores, or the local fresh markets, I always take note of what's going on in the industry.
